Do you accept credit card payments?
- Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or AMEX. However, there will be an additional 3% added to cover
merchant fees.

As an easy alternative to credit card payments, we can assist you with setting
up auto-payments with your bank.
What constitutes IT support that is "billable"?
- Any questions regarding technology advice, implementation, troubleshooting, or research.
- Any maintenance/upgrades on your workstations, servers, network equipment, or any technology peripherals.
- SeekZen Systems tracks all work performed in quarter-hour (15 minute)
increments.
Most importantly, what are your rates? Do you have discounts?
- The short answer is, it depends. Please keep in mind that
discounts are also available.
- Our
Outsourced IT plans begin as low as $65/hour,
depending on the selected plan.
- Consulting services are billed at $120/hour,
but are capped at a labor maximum.
- Service-on-Demand services are billed at
$120/hour.
What service areas do you cover, and do you bill for travel?
- SeekZen Systems is based in Fremont, CA and we primarily have clients around
the SF Bay Area. However, we can provide both remote and onsite support to
other locations as well.
- We bill travel time towards the client's location in
the Bay Area. We do not bill travel time away from the client's location.

How does SeekZen Systems bill for consulting services?
- SeekZen Systems charges on a quarter-hour basis from a project minimum (base
amount) up to a project maximum. In our proposal, we will present an estimated
number of hours required for us to finish the project, which translates to a
dollar amount.
- You pay for only the time that we work. We guarantee that your labor costs will not exceed the maximum quoted amount on the proposal, even if we work more hours than quoted.
- For new customers, SeekZen Systems will require a retainer to begin work, as
well as a credit card on file.
- All customers will be billed on a monthly basis for services rendered.
What are your billing cycles?
- Monthly invoices are sent on the 1st of each month and are due on the 15th of the month.
Can I upgrade my Outsourced IT plan after I've signed the contract?
- Yes - you can upgrade your Outsourced IT plan at any time. To upgrade your Outsourced IT Support Service plan, you will need to "close out" your current contract and sign up for the higher plan. No cancellation charges will be assessed.
- In order to "close out" your current contract, we will need to find out how
many hours you used in excess of the total monthly hours that has accrued so
far. (ie. # of months on plan x monthly hours = total hours accrued) If total
hours used is more than total hours accrued, then those hours will be billed
at your current plan's hourly rate.
- Once the current contract has been paid for, it will be closed. Your new plan will require a new contract.
